Grizzlies Again Named Best Game Entertainment
'Best Team Operations' Award Recognizes Top Game Presentation
This season the Grizzlies beat out the San Francisco Giants, among other runner-ups in the voting. The Grizzlies won the same award in 2008 and received an honorable mention in the category in 2007.

FRESNO, CA - For the second consecutive year, the Fresno Grizzlies have been honored as the best game entertainment operation in professional sports, winning GameOps.com's 2009 "Best Team Operations Award." The honor lauds the top sports team in game operations, considering all in-game entertainment, promotional development and overall value provided to fans. This season the Grizzlies beat out the San Francisco Giants, among other runner-ups in the voting. The Grizzlies won the same award in 2008 and received an honorable mention in the category in 2007, signifying consistent excellence in the fan experience at Chukchansi Park.

The Grizzlies' second consecutive "Best Team Operations Award" was accompanied by recognition for two of the most popular fixtures at Chukchansi Park. After winning the award in 2007, Grizzlies' mascot extraordinaire Parker received an honorable mention in this year's "Best Mascot" category. The Drag Kings, Minor League Baseball's premier dancing grounds crew, got an honorable mention nod in the "Best Entertainment Team" grouping.
